Soccer picks Formula 1 officially approved the arrival of the Cadillac brand as its 11th team

Cadillac will become the 11th F1 team from 2026. Formula 1 released an official statement in which it confirmed the conclusion of an agreement with General Motors.
From 2026, General Motors will begin participating in Formula 1 with its Cadillac team. In the first two years, Cadillac will use customer engines, and General Motors plans to develop and prepare its own engine by 2028. Then Cadillac will receive the status of a factory team.
Cadillac will use Andretti Global`s infrastructure as a base - the base located in Silverstone has already begun work.
The new team will compete in Formula 1 under the name Cadillac (RN365)
