The FA may punish Tottenham. The London club are accused of improperly controlling fans at the Premier League match by soccer articles against Manchester United (3-0) at Old Trafford on September 29. Two violations of rule E21 were identified.
The club failed to ensure that its fans and spectators behaved in an orderly manner and did not use inappropriately offensive or obscene words or actions.
Around the 49th and 79th minutes of the match, language with an explicit or implied reference to sexual orientation was used.
Tottenham must provide its response by Wednesday, November 13, the FA said in a statement.
