Soccer tip Yuki Tsunoda on readiness for the season: I have made progress and have now reached a completely different level

Alpha Tauri pilot Yuki Tsunoda said that he is approaching the start of the 2023 season in a much more prepared state than before.


For Tsunoda, the upcoming season will be his third in Formula 1:


I have made progress and have now reached a completely different level, although I still retain the positive aspects from the first season. Now I have definitely become much more in control of the situation, I have become noticeably more involved in the work of the team, if we are talking about the development of the car. I began to act differently and learned a lot of things - and it`s not just about racing, but also about my life off the track. I underestimated many points, but now I understand what things are truly important.


Tsunoda began working with Daniel Ricciardo`s former coach Michael Italiano and, in preparation, held a two-week training camp in Dubai:


I stayed there for two weeks, working on my fitness, and it also helped me work with a new coach who had worked with Ricciardo before. One of the main goals for the training camp was to build a working relationship so that we could better understand each other in the lead-up to the start of testing and the season itself. And everything went well, we had a great workout, focusing on endurance.
