Former NBA player Donte Green has been arrested for attempting to rob a gas station.


The 34-year-old walked into a gas station in Elkhart County, Indiana, and told the cashier to give him all the money, according to court documents. When the employee tried to call 911, Green told him not to. The call to the police came from a nearby Taco Bell restaurant.


Green did not carry a weapon and did not steal anything from the store.


The player has been charged with attempted robbery. If found guilty, the player faces a prison sentence of one to six years.


Green spent four seasons in the NBA (2008-2012) playing for Sacramento. He averaged 6. 1 points and 2. 4 rebounds per game in the league.


The forward plays in the BIG3 league mentioned by soccer articles for the Killer 3`s team and was named the most improved player of the 2021 season.
