Neymar will attend the funeral of the legendary Brazilian football player Pele.


According to L`Equipe journalist Eric Frosio, the PSG and Brazil striker arrived in Guaruja last night. Neymar is expected to attend Pele`s funeral.


Yesterday, Neymar did not play for PSG against Lens (1:3) in Ligue 1 due to suspension.


The three-time world champion passed away on December 29 at the age of 82.


On November 29, the former Brazilian national team player was hospitalized due to deteriorating health. He was diagnosed with kidney and heart failure.


It was previously reported that the chemotherapy he underwent as part of the treatment for colon cancer had ceased to give the desired result.


Pele is the only player in history to have won the World Cup three times as a player (in 1958, 1962 and 1970).
