The head of Red Bull Christian Horner shared his opinion about the moment of the season the team managed to turn the tide and gain an advantage over Ferrari.


According to Horner, the Imola stage, which was held in a sprint format, was the key.


However events unfolded, we never lost sight of our purpose. And then, having arrived in Imola, we managed to make our first double this season. And thus we were able to increase the pressure on Ferrari.


From that moment on, we tried not to give the opponents the opportunity to breathe freely, to take a breath. We continued to develop our car, while being efficient, and also working to reduce the weight of the car.


Other key factors? Definitely the sensational form of Max Verstappen this year. Some races in the early part of the season were extremely exciting - remember the battles in Miami, Saudi Arabia, even in Bahrain. Yes, this season was just great for us, - said Horner.
