Rafael Nadal commented that, most likely, he fell out of the fight for the first line of the rating at the end of the season. Theoretically, he can still get past Carlos Alcaraz, but for this he needs to leave the group of the final tournament, despite two defeats, and then take the ATP Finals title for the first time in his career.


Of course, finishing the season first in the world is a great achievement. At this point in my career, that would be amazing. But I said that I would no longer pursue it.


If I find myself in a situation where I can do it, fine. But my body, my age, my personal situation no longer allow me to set such goals.


Winning two Slams was not enough. Of course, this was not enough, because I could not play. I don`t know how many tournaments I played - 10, 11, maybe 12. Finished in good condition, maybe 9-10.


It`s hard to fight young guys who are super strong and can play as many tournaments prediction by tips price as they want. And it`s normal that they are now in the same situation that I was in 15 years ago.
